Employment law is becoming one of the largest and most complex areas of the law given the increasing pace of new employment legislation.  Cases are regularly reported in the media which emphasise, for employees, the importance of being aware of their rights and, for employers, the serious financial consequences of mismanaging employment disputes.

For employers, we can offer advice on contracts of employment and other documentation which not only ensures that you comply with the law but are able to take appropriate action in any cases should disputes or difficulties emerge.  We also advise on the employment law implications in connection with acquisitions and disposals of businesses, redundancies and re-organisations.

For employees, we regularly deal with claims in the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal, redundancy and discrimination and are well placed to represent you.  We also advise on contracts of employment, redundancies and lay-offs, compromise agreements and non-compete clauses in contracts of employment.
